For more than 20 years, Bryan has worked with executives and their senior management teams to design and implement strategic change, particularly in the areas of marketing and sales.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Bryan began his career with The Addison Group, a strategy consulting group, based in London, England, serving industries ranging from steel to pulp and paper to wireless communications.

From the Addison Group (later renamed Beddows & Company), Bryan migrated to Central Europe in 1989 at a time of great change. For three years he served the Hungarian Privatization Agency, helping to attract record-breaking amounts of foreign investment.

Returning to the United States, Bryan joined what would later become Catalyst Connection, a nationally-recognized regional economic development organization based in Pittsburgh, as the Managing Director for International Business Development. Catalyst’s focus was and is on small- and medium-sized manufacturing and technology firms, many of them family owned.

Returning to Budapest in 2000, Bryan joined the management consulting team of Deloitte & Touche, leading the Hungarian and Central European practice’s manufacturing group, again during a period of intense change. Bryan managed large, complex projects in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods and Telecommunications, among other industries.

Back in the U.S. and back again at Catalyst Connection Bryan was responsible for Catalyst’s nationally-renowned Business Growth consulting practice which, during his tenure, grew by nearly 300%. The Business Growth practice also achieved outstanding levels of client satisfaction and documented top line revenue impact for its clients.

Since the fall of 2008, Bryan has been the Principal in the consulting firm One Step Beyond.

Having worked with more than 250 clients in a wide range of sectors in over a dozen countries around the world, Bryan now focuses on helping senior executives develop and implement strategic change; specializes in marketing and sales solutions; provides Executive Coaching; and facilitates peer learning through The Executive Forum.
